Three Women Would Be Released pending different Cases

The circuit of Cairo Criminal Court held at Tora’s Non-Commissioned Police Officers Institute ordered the release of three women, as follows:
1- Mrs. Houda Farouk Mohamed Suleiman, pending case No. 965 of 2021, Supreme State Security.
2- Mrs. Dahab Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahdi and Ms. Ibtisam Misbah Eid Hammad, pending case No. 1935 of 2021, Supreme State Security.

– Reportedly, Mrs. Houda Farouk is a 44-year-old doctor of pharmacy. She was arrested in July 2021 and appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Case No. 965 of 2021, Supreme State Security. She was mainly charged with: Joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.

– Mrs. Ibtisam’s journey is longer as she was arrested after May 2020. She appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Case No. 750 of 2019, Supreme State Security, known in the media as the “Sinai Province” case, she was released with precautionary measures in the above-mentioned case on January 17th, 2021.

Mrs. Ibtisam did not go outside. Instead, she was forcibly disappeared and rotated inside the prison. Later, she appeared again in October 2021 before the State Security Prosecution, pending Case No. 1935 of 2021, the Supreme State Security. The Public Prosecution charged her with joining the terrorist group Daesh.
Yesterday, the Cairo Criminal Court finally ordered her release pending case No. 1935 of 2021.

– Mrs. Dahab, who is 22 years old, was arrested in late August 2021. She appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution and was included in Case No. 1935 of 2021, the Supreme State Security. She was accused of joining the terrorist group Daesh. Yesterday, the Cairo Criminal Court ordered her release pending the above-mentioned case.
