أطلس سجون مصر: شاهد على العنف ضدّ النّساء والفتيات !
Egypt Prison ATLAS (EPA): Bearing Witness to the Violence against Women and Girls !
يشير العنف القائم على النّوع الإجتماعي إلى جميع أشكال العنف الموجّه ضدّ شخص على أساس جنسه/ها أو توجّهه/ها الجنسي. فيمكن الإشارة أنه من أشكال التّمييز ضدّ النّساء والفتيات وهو متجذّرٌ بعمق في ممارسات السّلط المصريّة من خلال إساءة إستخدام السّلطة خاصّة في غياهب السّجون وأماكن الإحتجاز، أين يندُر أيّ نوع من أنواع الرّقابة. تبعا لذلك سيعمل موقع أطلس سجون مصر، الموقع الإلكتروني الأوّل من نوعه في المنطقة، على توفير قاعدة بيانات مفتوحة تكون أداةً لتوثيق وعرض الإنتهاكات المسلّطة على النّساء والفتيات المحبوسات أو المقبوض عليهنّ على خلفيّة قضايا سياسيّة منذ سنة 2013.
Gender-Based-Violence (GBV) refers to all forms of violence against an individual based on their gender or sexual orientation. These include forms of discrimination against women and girls that are deeply rooted in the practices of the Egyptian authorities through the abuse of power, especially in the depths of prisons and detention places where all forms of surveillance are scarce.
Accordingly, the Egypt Prison Atlas (EPA), the first website of its kind in the region, will provide an open database as a tool for documenting and exhibiting the violations committed against women and girls who have been imprisoned or arrested in the backdrop of political cases since 2013.
ويحتوي بذلك الأطلس على مادّة أوليّة من المعلومات والبيانات في شكل بروفايل خاصّ لكل سجينة سياسيّة منذ القبض لما بعد الإحتجاز يتخلّلها عرض للإنتهاكات التّي يمكن تصنيفها كالتّالي: العنف الجسدي (الإعتداء على جسد السّجينة بالضرب وخلافه من وسائل التّعذيب وسوء المعاملة)، العنف الجنسي (الإعتداء على جسد السّجينة (هتك العرض) والتّحرش اللّفظي والإعتداءات ذات الطّابع الجنسي)، العنف الإجتماعي والاقتصادي (ممارسات تهدف إلى عزل السّجينة عن المجتمع السّجني المصّغر أو عن المجتمع الخارجي واستنزافها اقتصاديَا من أجل الولوج لأبسط الحقوق إلخ)، العنف النّفسي (الإعتداء على السّجينة بالأفعال أو الألفاظ التي تسئ إليها نفسيًّا) والعنف المؤسّساتي/السّياسي (وهو تعرّض السّجينة للعنف من قبل السّلطة الحاكمة مثل الإخفاء القسريّ والمنع من مزاولة التّعليم أو التّدوير والإحتجاز الغير قانوني إلخ).
Hence, the EPA contains raw material of information and data in the form of a profile for each political prisoner from arrest to post-detention, with an exhibition of the violations that may be categorized as follows: physical violence (assaulting a prisoner’s body by beating and other means of torture and ill-treatment), sexual violence (assaulting a prisoner’s body (defilement), verbal harassment and sexual assaults), socio-economic violence (practices aiming at isolating a prisoner from the prison community or the external community and financially draining her to access her most basic rights, etc.), psychological violence (assaulting a prisoner with actions or words that psychologically offend her) and institutional/political violence (violence practiced by the governing authority on a prisoner, such as enforced disappearance and denial of schooling, or rotation and illegal detention, etc.)
للتّذكير، تستمّر الحملة الإعلاميّة الخاصّة بأطلس سجون مصر على امتداد هذه الفترة وإلى غاية الثّالث من يوليو 2022، التّاريخ الرّسمي لإطلاق الموقع.
As a reminder, the EPA release campaign continues throughout this period until July 3rd, 2022, the official release date of the website.
