On International Volunteer Day (December 5), Belady seizes the opportunity to recognize and thank its interns and volunteers for their hard work. We are deeply proud of those incredible souls who dedicated their precious time and efforts to support a great cause. Without your contribution and support, we would not have achieved this progress. We truly appreciate your dedication and passion. Thank you for being a part of our team.
Ahlem Chemakh: “I feel fortunate enough to intern at Belady. It has provided me with an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working for a noble cause”.
أحلام شامخ: “أشعر بأننّي محظوظة للتّدرب في بلادي. لقد أتاحت لي فرصة ممتازة لإكتساب خبرة عمليّة أثناء العمل من أجل قضيّة نبيلة”.
Jordan Lasker: “My internship with Belady was a very positive experience. Among many other things, I learned how to perform certain administrative tasks, how to communicate with Congressmen, and how many political prisoners Egypt has. I am confident the skills I learned with Belady will help me to get work in the humanitarian sector in the future !”
جوردن لاسكر: “كانت فترة تدريبي مع بلادي تجربة إيجابيّة للغاية. من ضمن الأشياء التي تعلّمتها، كيفيّة أداء بعض المهام الإداريّة وكيفيّة التّواصل مع أعضاء الكونجرس إضافةً إلى عدد السّجناء/ات السياسيّين/ات في مصر. أنا واثقة أن المهارات التّي تعلّمتها مع بلادي ستساعدني في الحصول على عمل في القطاع الإنساني في المستقبل !”

إشراق بن صالح: “مسيرتي كانت إستثنائيّة. أودّ أن أشكر بلادي من كل قلبي على الفرصة التّي أتاحتها لي. كانت التّجربة مثيرة للإهتمام فقد تعلّمت الكثير وإلتقيت بأشخاص إستثنائيّين/ات. كان لديّ زملاء رائعون/ات جدا. شكرًا على وقتكم/كن وعطائكم/كن ودعمكم/كن غير المشروط. أحيّيكم/كن لما تحاولون/ القيام به”.
Khouloud belhadj: “So, my experience with Belady was overall an eye-opener to the many violations that have gone unnoticed and unspoken of. Also, I have enjoyed taking part in helping others and making their voices heard. It assured me that this is the field that I wish to work in”.
خلود بالحاج: “كانت تجربتي مع بلادي بشكل عامّ بمثابة منبّه إلى العديد من الإنتهاكات التّي تْمارس دون أن يلاحظها أحد أو يتّم الحديث عنها. كما أننّي استمتعت بالمشاركة في مساعدة الآخرين وجعل أصواتهم/هن مسموعةً. ممّا أكّد لي أن هذا هو المجال الذّي أود العمل فيه”.
Neely Egan: “Working for Belady has been a wonderful experience because it has allowed me to intimately understand a human rights NGO while being surrounded by smart and thoughtful people”.
نيلي إيغان: “لقد كان العمل في بلادي تجربة رائعة سمحت لي أن أفهم عن كثب منظّمة مدافعة عن حقوق الإنسان إضافةً لوجودي وسط أشخاصٍ أذكياء/ات ومراعين/ات”.
Nouran Bouchlaghem: “A friendly work environment with an amazing team. It felt like family and I enjoyed my time”.

Tauhid Davis: “Belady provided the non-profit experience I will need in the future, and it allowed me to connect with the Arab community on a deeper level”.
