“Ms. Maha Salem sentenced in absentia for 15 years aggravated imprisonment.”
Cairo Criminal Court, third circuit of terrorism, held in Tora’s Non-Commissioned Police Officers, yesterday, Sunday, May 29th, 2022, headed by Judge Mohamed Hammad, sentenced Maha Salem in absentia for 15 years aggravated imprisonment, convicting her of joining an illegally founded group in case No. 440 of 2018 Supreme State Security.
It is worth noting that this case includes 24 other defendants, including Dr. Abdel Moneim Abu Al Fotouh, Mohamed Al Qassas, Mahmoud Ezzat and 21 others. their sentences ranged between life sentence and aggravated imprisonment for durations ranging from 10 to 15 years.
