“Release Order of Ms. Abeer Rab’ii pending Trial”
Belady congratulates Ms. Abeer Rab’ii Ali after the Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered her release in case No. 440 of 2022, Supreme State Security.
It is noted that:
– She was arrested in a campaign launched by the security forces to arrest her brother, who is charged in the same case. When security failed to find her brother, she was arrested instead. She was investigated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution on June 22nd, 2022 and included in the aforementioned case for joining a terrorist group and publishing false news.
– She was primarily detained at Senoras Police Station in Fayoum, then transferred to El Qanater Women’s Prison.
– She remained in pretrial detention until the Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered her release yesterday, October 23rd, 2022, pending trial.
