In conjunction with the beginning of the sit-in of women journalists in the Egyptian Bar Association in Cairo, and with the continuous targeting of women journalists, 65 women journalists have been arrested since 2013 until now. Belady sheds light on the imprisoned women journalists, as follows:

4- Manal Mohamed Ajrama
– One sentenced woman journalist:
Aliaa Nasr El Din Awad
