الطفل عبد الله كرم محمد: “صاحبي مات بتسع طلقات من الشرطة فقررت أنزل مظاهرات عشانه”
Child Abdallah Karam Mohamed: “My friend was shot dead with 9 bullets by the police, so I decided to participate in demonstrations for him.”
الطفل عبد الله كرم محمد, عنده حالياً 26 سنة, قضى منهم 8 سنوات جوة السجن على ذمة القضية رقم 451 لسنة 2014 حصر أمن الدولة العليا, والمعروفة إعلامياً بقضية “كتائب حلوان”.
Abdallah Karam Mohamed, who is currently 26 years old, spent 8 years in prison pending case No. 451 of 2014- Supreme State Security, known in the media as the “Helwan Brigades” case.
إيه قصة الطفل عبد الله!
بدأت قصة الطفل عبد الله -واللي أصبح شاب حالياً- في أواخر شهر أغسطس 2013 بمعرفته بمقتل صديقه بتسع طلقات من قبل قوات الشرطة, وده كان سبب كبير إن الطفل يتأثر نفسياً بفقد صديقه, وكمان بحادثة الوفاة نفسها.
What is the story of the child Abdallah?
The story Abdallah, who is now a young man, began in late August 2013 when he learned about his friend’s death by nine bullets from the police forces. Losing his friend to death affected the child psychologically.
زي أي طفل في مرحلة المراهقة تحت سيطرة العواطف, التسرع, والاندفاع, متأثر نفسياً بمقتل صديقه, قرر الطفل بعد حضوره لجنازة صديقة إنه ينزل مظاهرات منطقة حلوان, ويحاول يصرخ ويهتف ضد الناس اللي عرف إنهم قتلوا صاحبه, ومش حاطط أي حسابات للناس اللى بتحاول بشكل مستمر تستقطب الأطفال -المراهقين- للمشاركة في أعمال العنف تحت مسمى “ناخد بثأر صاحبك اللي اتقتل”.
Like any teenager under the control of emotions, haste, and impulsiveness, psychologically affected by the death of his friend, the child decided after attending the funeral to go to demonstrations in the Helwan area. He wanted to scream and chant against the people who killed his friend. He did not think about the individuals who continuously lure teenagers to participate in acts of violence under the label “We take revenge for your friend who was murdered.”
بتاريخ 23 أغسطس 2014 تم نصب عدة أكمنة من قبل قوات الشرطة, وتم القبض على الطفل عبد الله, وبتفتيشه وتفتيش مسكنه لم يعثر معه على أي أحراز أو مضبوطات تفيد اشتراك الطفل في أعمال العنف.
On August 23rd, 2014, several ambushes were set up by the police forces and the child Abdallah was arrested. Searching him and his house, no possessions or seizures were found indicating the childs participation in acts of violence.
ظل الطفل عبدالله مختفي قسرياً لمدة خمسة أيام داخل قسم شرطة حلوان, وظهر بعدها أمام نيابة أمن الدولة العليا, متهم باتهامات كثيرة أشهرها الانضمام لجماعة إرهابية, وممارسة العنف, والتعدي على رجال الشرطة, ومن ثم إدراج اسمه على ذمة القضية المعروفة إعلامياً بقضية كتائب حلوان.
Abdallah was forcibly disappeared for five days inside the Helwan Police Station, after which he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution. He was accused of several charges, chiefly: joining a terrorist group, practicing violence, and assaulting policemen. Later, his name was included in the case known in the media as the Helwan Brigades.
ومع بداية التحقيق الطفل فضل يقول كلام ملخبط وغير مرتب عن اشتراكه في المظاهرات والعنف نتيجة مقتل صديقه وتأثره نفسياً بفقده, لكن في التحقيق التاني بدأ الطفل يقر بإنه اتعرض للتعذيب في الأمن الوطني, وإنهم حفظوه نص الكلام اللي أقر بيه على خلاف الحقيقة, وإن كل اللي عمله في الواقع هو نزول المظاهرات عشان صاحبه اللي مات.
When the investigation began, the child spoke in a vague and confused manner on his participation in the demonstrations and violence as a result of his friend’s murder and its psychological impact on him. However, in the second investigation, the child admitted that he was subjected to torture in the National Security, and that they made him say those words contrary to the truth. He also admitted that all he did, in reality, was to demonstrate for his friend who died.
كمان الطفل عبدالله قال إنه خايف جداً من الأشخاص اللي كانوا بيمارسوا العنف في المظاهرات اللي كان بينزلها لأنهم معاه في السجن, وإنهم ممكن يتعرضوا ليه -بداخل السجن- بالضرب أو حتى إنهم يخلصوا عليه!! وإنه بالفعل تلقى تهديد من واحد منهم.
Moreover, Abdallah said that he was very scared of the people who were practicing violence in the demonstrations that he was attending because they are imprisoned with him and that they may beat or even get rid of him!! One of them already threatened him.
الطفل عبدالله بالفعل اتعرض للضرب داخل مقر احتجازه -سجن العقرب- من قبل قوات الشرطة, مما أدى لإصابات بالكتف, والرجل, وتم اثبات ذلك في محضر التحقيق.
The child Abdallah was indeed beaten inside Al Aqrab (Scorpion) Prison, the detention center, by the police forces, which caused his injuries to the shoulder and leg. This was proven in the investigation report.
الطفل عبد الله خسر سنوات طفولته, ونصف سنوات شبابه بداخل السجن رغم كونه مجرد ضحية!
ضحية من ضحايا استقطاب الأطفال المتأثرين نفسياً بوفاة ذويهم أو أصدقائهم, واستغلال اندفاعهم ومشاعرهم لتوظيفها بشكل غير صحيح.
Abdallah lost his childhood and half of his youth in prison, despite being just a victim!
A victim of luring the psychologically-affected children by the death of their family or friends, and the exploitation of their impulses and feelings to use them wrongly.
ومن هنا نناشد السلطات المصرية بمحاولة إيجاد وسيلة للتصالح مع الأطفال المدرجين على ذمة القضايا السياسية, وإعادة تأهيلهم بشكل يسمح لهم بالاندماج في نسيج المجتمع من جديد, بدلاً من الزج بهم في السجون وسط بيئة تعمل على تغذية عنصر الانتقام لديهم, وتساعدهم على ارتكاب الجرائم.
Hence, we appeal to the Egyptian authorities to try and find a method to reconcile with the children listed in political cases and rehabilitate them in a manner that allows them to reintegrate into the social fabric, instead of shoving them in prisons in an environment that feeds retaliation and helps them commit crimes.
