Third: Accusations against women and children
\n1- Joining a terrorist group and participating in a criminal agreement with the purpose of committing a terrorist crime; that they agreed to commit the crime of joining the \u201cterrorist Ahrar al-Sham\u201d group that is headquarted in Syria and uses terrorism, military training, and combat methods as a means to achieve their goals.
\n2- Mrs. Fatimah was charged with financing a terrorist group, for providing the terrorist group with funds with the intent of using them to commit terrorist crimes.
\n3- She was also accused of instigating the commission of a terrorist crime by inciting her son- the child\/Ahmad Rabiy\u2019a to commit the crime of joining the armed group whose headquarters are located outside of Egypt, which uses terrorism, military training, and combat methods as a means to achieve its goals.<\/p>\n

Fourth: The cases\u2019 journey from the start to ratification
\n1- The suspects were arrested in May 2017, and were forcibly hidden for about a month in National Security headquarters and other illegal detention facilities.
\n2- A month after the arrest of the accused individuals – specifically between June 13-17, 2017, the defendants appeared before the Emergency State Security Prosecution in the Ahrar al-Sham case, and the aforementioned accusations were brought.
\n3- Subsequently, the State Security Emergency Prosecution decided to detain the accused individuals pending investigations, providing that their detention be renewed in accordance with the established legal dates.
\n4- After a year and a half of being held in pre-trial detention, the woman, her son, and some of the accused individuals were released pending the case of the aforementioned statement.
\n5- In 2020, the case of Ahrar al-Sham was referred to the specialty\/competent court (Emergency State Security Criminal Court) to consider the case and issue a verdict.
\n6- Mrs. Fatimah and her son Ahmad Rabiy\u2019a were detained in one of the court sessions and re-imprisoned pending the case of the aforementioned statement.
\n7- On August 24, 2021, the Emergency State Security Criminal Court, the Third Circuit Terrorism headed by Counselor\/ Muhammad Kamel Abdel Sattar, issued its rulings on all the defendants, between life imprisonment and rigorous imprisonment, and the verdict against the woman and her son was as follows:
\nA- The court acquitted the child \/ Ahmad Rabiy\u2019a Rashad al-Desouky.
\nB- The court sentenced the mother of the child, Mrs. Fatima El-Sayed El-Sayed, to \u00a0 \u00a0 7 years in prison, for the accusations against her.
\n8- In January 2022, the aforementioned ruling was ratified by the military governor<\/p>\n
