بيان مناشدة
قضت محكمة جنايات القاهرة، الدائرة الأولى إرهاب، برئاسة القاضي محمد شيرين فهمي، يوم 28 يونيو 2022 على المصورة الصحفية/ علياء نصر الدين حسن نصر عواض, المشهورة إعلامياً باسم “علياء عواد”، بالسجن خمسة عشر عاماً في اتهامها بالانضمام لجماعة ارهابية والترويج لأغراضها، وبنفس الحكم على 11 طفلا متهما بالتجمهر وذلك في القضية المعروفة إعلامياً بقضية “كتائب حلوان”.
وللإشارة، لم تأخذ المحكمة بعين الإعتبار ما عانته علياء داخل محبسها من إهمال طبي، فقد عانت علياء ظروف صحية صعبة جداً تتطلب تدخل جراحي عاجل ومتابعة طبية منتظمة، لكن هذا غير ممكن وهي سجينة نظراً لضعف إمكانية مستشفى السجن.
لم تلتمس المحكمة أيضا أي عذر للأطفال حتى كونهم قصّر فبعد سنوات طويلة من الحبس الإحتياطي يأتي الحكم بشكل قاس.
سجلت بلادي أيضا الحكم ببراءة 43 متهما بعد مكوثهم في الحبس الإحتياطي منذ إنطلاق القضية.

A Plea
On June 28, 2022, the Cairo Criminal Court, First Circuit Terrorism, headed by Judge Mohamed Sherine Fahmy, sentenced the photojournalist Alia Nasr El Din Hassan Nasr Awad, known in the media as “Alia Awad” to fifteen years in prison. The court convicted her of joining a terrorist group and promoting its purposes. The same verdict was issued on eleven children for unlawful assembly, in the case known in the media as the “Helwan Brigades” case.
It is worth noting that the court did not take into account the medical negligence that Alia suffered in her imprisonment. She suffered tough health conditions that required urgent surgical intervention and regular medical follow-up. However, this is not possible for a prisoner due to the weak capacity of the prison hospital.
The court did not take any considerations for the children even for being minors. After many years of pretrial detention, the verdict came out harsh.
Belady also recorded the acquittal of 43 defendants after being held in pretrial detention since the beginning of the case.
