أحمد رجب أحمد, عنده حالياً 26 سنة, لكن رحلته مع السجن بدأت من وقت ما كان عمره 18 سنة, لما اقتحمت قوات الأمن منزل الطفل, وتم القبض عليه, وإدراجه على ذمة القضية رقم 451 لسنة 2014 حصر أمن الدولة العليا, والمعروفة إعلامياً بقضية “كتائب حلوان”, وحتى الآن مازالت رحلته مستمرة.
Ahmed Rajab Ahmed, is currently 26 years old, but his prison journey began when he was 18 years old. The child was arrested when the security forces raided his house. he was included in the case No. 451 of 2014- the Supreme State Security, known in the media as the “Helwan Brigades” case. To date, his journey is still going on.
طيب إزاي بدأت الرحلة؟
الطفل أحمد نشأ وسط معارف بيتكلموا باستمرار عن المظاهرات واللي بيحصل في الشارع المصري بشكل عام, وكرد فعل متوقع من أي طفل في سن أحمد وقتها إنه يحاول يكتشف إيه معنى الكلام ده, خصوصاً بعد القبض على واحد من قرايبه.
Then, how did the journey begin?
The child Ahmed grew up among acquaintances who constantly talk about demonstrations and what is happening in the Egyptian street in general. As an expected reaction from any child of Ahmed’s age at that time, he tried to discover the meaning behind these words, especially after the arrest of one of his relatives.
نزل أحمد المظاهرات بمشاعر طفل مراهق حابب يعرف إيه اللي بيحصل حواليه, لكن اللي حصل بعد كده كان صادم..
بتاريخ 27 أغسطس 2014 أحمد خلص شغله ورجع على البيت لقى قوات الشرطة في كل مكان, وتم القبض عليه وترحيله لقسم الشرطة المختص, وهناك تم التعدي على الطفل أحمد بالضرب المبرح والسب والصعق بالكهرباء, لحد ما ظهر الطفل أمام نيابة أمن الدولة العليا متهم بتهم كتير أشهرها كان الانضمام لجماعة أسست على خلاف أحكام القانون, ومحاولة قلب نظام الحكم بالقوة, والتخريب العمدي للمباني والممتلكات, وبعدها تم إدراج أسمه على ذمة قضية كتائب حلوان.
Influenced by the emotions of a teenager, Ahmed went to the demonstrations and wanted to know what was happening around him, but what happened after that was shocking …
On August 27th, 2014, Ahmed left his workplace and returned home to find police forces in every corner. He was arrested and transferred to the competent police station. There, the child Ahmed was severely beaten, insulted and electrocuted, until he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution. He was accused of many charges, chiefly: joining a group founded in violation of the provisions of the law, attempt to overthrow the regime by force, and deliberate destruction of buildings and properties. Later, his name was included in the Helwan Brigades case.
أحمد ذكر في التحقيق إنه مجرد طفل نزل مظاهرات, وإنه حرفياً بين نارين, وده لإنه تم إجباره من قبل قوات الشرطة على الإدلاء باعترافات مش حقيقية من جهة, وتم تهديده من قبل الأشخاص اللي بيستخدموا العنف من جهة تانية.
Ahmed mentioned in the investigation that he is just a child who attended demonstrations and that he is literally caught between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, he was forced by the police forces to make false confessions and, on the other hand, he was threatened by people who use violence.
أحمد وكل الأطفال اللي حكايتهم تشبه حكايته خسروا سنوات طفولتهم بأكملها جوة السجون, ومستمرين في خسارة سنوات شبابهم سنة ورا سنة. ومن هنا هنرجع ونقول -في كل مرة بنتكلم فيها عن الأطفال- إنهم يستحقوا فرصة تانية يتم من خلالها توفير آلية للتصالح معاهم, وإعادة دمجهم لنسيج المجتمع من جديد.
Ahmed and all the children whose stories are similar to his have lost their entire childhood in prisons. Likewise, their youth is being lost year after year. Therefore, we say, every time we speak about children, that they deserve a second chance through which a mechanism for reconciliation with them and their reintegration into the fabric of society is provided.
